This is a hybrid role in Toronto
Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and optimize standardized reporting suites and executive dashboards across key business units
Automate recurring reports using BI tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention
Ensure consistency, accuracy, and traceability of KPIs across all reporting outputs
Design and execute measurement frameworks for marketing campaigns (e.g., attribution models, incrementality testing, ROI analysis)
Partner with Marketing, Product, and Digital teams to evaluate campaign effectiveness and provide actionable recommendations
Analyze multi-channel performance including email, paid media, web, and mobile channels
Ensure adherence to internal data governance policies and external regulatory requirements (e.g., privacy, consent, and data usage standards)
Collaborate with data engineering teams to validate data pipelines, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure data integrity
Support audit processes by maintaining documentation and lineage of reporting logic
Translate complex datasets into clear, concise insights tailored for executive and non-technical audiences
Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to drive business growth and improve customer experience
Proactively recommend optimization strategies based on performance data
Partner with cross-functional teams including Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Technology
Gather and document business requirements for reporting and measurement needs
Act as a subject matter expert for reporting methodologies and performance metrics
Understands and articulates the business case of business questions and the estimated value being delivered
Designs dashboards and analyses to be performed, and appropriate visualization and analytics tools to use
Identifies trends and patterns to address identified business questions and provide insights through reporting and data visualization techniques
Works with other data and analytics professionals to optimize, refine, automate and scale analysis into repeatable analytics solutions and decision support tools
Builds various reporting dashboards using the most appropriate data extraction, data cleaning and data visualisation techniques
Provides value through insights, reporting and data visualization techniques
Selects, configures and implements analytics solutions for consistency and repeatability
Researches and applies continuous improvement in data visualization by identifying trends and patterns to transform raw data into actionable business insights
Works with different teams,



management and stakeholders to enhance the usability and aesthetic appeal of data analytics solutions deployed in the organization
Translates business needs to technical specifications and evaluates existing data visualization systems in order to improve them
Develops data visualizations of "large" amounts of data that facilitate the intuitive presentation of data to decision makers
Documents data flow, systems and processes to improve the design, implementation and management of business/group processes
Develops tools and delivers training programs for use of reporting tools and self-serve analytics by non-analytical end users; may include delivery of training to audiences
Focus is primarily on business/group within BMO; may have broader, enterprise-wide focus
Provides specialized consulting, analytical and technical support
Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules
Works independently and regularly handles non-routine situations
Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed
Take measured risks while protecting the bank by applying our Risk Management Framework in the execution of your role, in line with our Risk Culture and within our approved Risk Appetite, making sound and risk informed decisions that align to business strategy, protect assets, and adhere to applicable policy documents (Frameworks, Policies, Standards, Procedures and Supporting documents), laws and regulations
Qualifications Required Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or related field
Must have 3–5+ years of experience in reporting, analytics, or measurement (preferably within financial services)
Must possess robust proficiency in SQL and experience with large datasets
Must have hands‑on experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
Must have solid understanding of campaign measurement methodologies (e.g., A/B testing, attribution models)
Must have advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, modeling, data manipulation)
Preferred Experience working within a regulated environment (e.g., banking, insurance, wealth management)
Familiarity with customer data platforms (CDPs) and marketing automation tools
Knowledge of statistical analysis tools (e.g., Python, R)
Understanding of privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, PIPEDA)
Salary Salary: $69,000.00 - $129,000.00
Pay Type: Salaried




The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type. Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part‑time roles will be pro‑rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position. BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance‑based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
