In this position you will report to the Weekday Day shift Plating & Processing Supervisor. As the Process Technician - CAD/TI-CAD/Z-Nickel Plating, you will be responsible for maintaining demand for Production. Work Shift: Weekday Day (Monday-Thursday) 6:00 am - 4:00 Pm)
What You Will Do CAD, Ti-Cad, and Zinc Nickel plating of aircraft components, including preparation of components, to customer specifications and development of work techniques, could also include masking.
fixturing, loading and unloading.
Prep, mask and lacquer as required.
Tank/chemistry, associated tooling maintenance.
Adherence to the PM schedule of tanks.
Act as a cross functional team member and support other plating applications as requested.
Observe and adhere to all safety and PPE job requirements.
Requires use of PAPR.
Communicate and co-ordinate priorities and process issues between operators and shifts.
Support and promote continuous improvement,



5S activities and Standard Work Development in the cell.
Multi-task and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications High school diploma, or equivalent plating/processing experience
Process chemistry background; prior plating experience would be considered an asset.
Sound working knowledge of measuring equipment such as calipers and elcometers.
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints and work with various hand tools.
The selected candidate has to be eligible to work in Canada; successful candidate must meet all requirements under ITAR and CCGP.
Preferred Qualifications Strong understanding of WHMIS.
Benefits The salary range for this role is 61,334 CAD – 81,003 CAD.
