Construction Site Superintendent

Salary Range: $120,000 to $150,000

Our client is a well-established construction company with a strong portfolio of commercial and ICI projects. They are looking for an experienced Site Superintendent to lead a major ground-up construction project in the Peterborough area.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide overall site leadership and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and site activities.
- Manage site safety, quality, scheduling, and day-to-day project execution.
- Review drawings and specifications and address constructability and site issues.
- Develop look-ahead schedules and monitor progress against project timelines.
- Work closely with the Project Manager, consultants, clients, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.




- Oversee inspections, deficiencies, commissioning, and project close-out.

Qualifications

- 8+ years of Site Superintendent experience with a General Contractor.
- Solid commercial/ICI construction experience required.
- Proven experience leading ground-up construction projects valued at $30M+ from mobilization through completion.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, scheduling, safety, and quality control.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing multiple trades and subcontractors on complex projects.
- Procore experience is an asset.
