6ixBuild is looking for an experienced Site Superintendent to join our construction team and oversee day-to-day site operations on our commercial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and coordinate daily on-site construction activities
- Supervise subcontractors, trades, labour, and site operations
- Ensure work is completed according to drawings, specifications, and project requirements
- Monitor project schedules and coordinate the sequencing of trades
- Conduct daily site inspections and monitor quality of workmanship
- Identify and resolve site issues to minimize delays
- Coordinate material, equipment, and manpower requirements
- Maintain a protected, organized, and productive job site
- Work closely with the Project Manager, Project Coordinator, consultants, and subcontractors
- Provide regular updates on site progress, upcoming work, and potential issues
- Ensure compliance with Ontario health and safety requirements

Qualifications:





- Minimum 5 years of construction experience, with previous experience as a Site Superintendent or Site Supervisor preferred
- Strong experience with commercial construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and site operations
- Ability to read and understand architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings
- Strong leadership and subcontractor coordination skills
- Ability to plan ahead, prioritize work, and solve problems on site
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of Ontario construction safety requirements
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence
