Job Summary

Montana Fades is looking for a creative, motivated, and reliable Social Media Content Creator to help grow one of the fastest-growing barbershop brands in the GTA.

You’ll be responsible for filming, editing, and producing engaging short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts. From haircut transformations and behind-the-scenes moments to client reactions and brand storytelling, you’ll play a key role in showcasing the Montana Fades experience.

We’re looking for someone who understands today’s social media landscape, enjoys creating content that captures attention, and wants to grow with an ambitious local brand.

Responsibilities

- Film high-quality content at both Montana Fades locations in Oakville.
- Capture haircut transformations, barbering, behind-the-scenes footage, team culture, and promotional content.
- Edit engaging short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.
- Add captions, music, transitions, graphics, and effects that enhance engagement.
- Work with the owner to develop creative content ideas and marketing campaigns.
- Stay current with social media trends and recommend new content concepts.
- Organize and manage video files and deliver content on schedule.
- Maintain a consistent visual style that reflects the Montana Fades brand.

Qualifications

- Experience filming and editing social media content.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.
- Proficiency with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve,



or similar editing software.
- Experience using skilled cameras and/or modern smartphones.
- Strong creativity, attention to detail, and storytelling ability.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Reliable transportation to travel between both Oakville locations.

Preferred Qualifications

- Photography experience.
- Experience growing business social media accounts.
- Graphic design or motion graphics experience.
- Experience working with barber, beauty, lifestyle, fashion, or fitness brands.
