Navo Lashes is a Canadian, direct-to-consumer beauty brand specializing in pre-glued lash clusters that apply like stickers — no glue, no salon visits, no mess. We are a digital-first brand built on e-commerce, social commerce, analytics, and AI-enabled tools, with a strong focus on education-driven content and performance-based growth.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a Social Content Creator Intern who loves creating polished, engaging short-form video and understands that great brand content needs to do more than get views — it should make people interested in the product and ultimately help drive sales.

You’ll be one of the faces of Navo on social media, creating TikToks and Instagram Reels that feature our products, demonstrate how they work, communicate their benefits, and make viewers want to try them.

This is a hands-on content creation role. You’ll regularly be on camera, try on and demonstrate Navo products, film original footage, edit videos, write hooks and captions, and post content directly to our TikTok and Instagram channels.

We want someone who can spot trends and create content with viral potential, but virality for the sake of virality isn’t the goal. The best content combines an attention-grabbing concept with strong product integration, explicit messaging, and an understanding of what actually converts viewers into customers.

This role is also highly self-directed. We’re a small founder-led team, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable taking ownership of their work with minimal day-to-day supervision. Once you understand the brand, you should be able to independently develop content ideas, film and edit videos, submit them for review, incorporate feedback, and publish approved content on schedule.

REQUIREMENTS

- Enrolled in a Canadian accredited post-secondary institution (all majors welcome)
- Legally entitled to work in Canada (Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident)
- Strong understanding of TikTok and Instagram, especially short-form video formats




- Ability to create strong hooks and catchy openings
- Comfortable regularly appearing on camera, applying and wearing Navo Lashes, and demonstrating products
- Comfortable learning and clearly articulating brand positioning and product perks
- Highly self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable taking ownership of a recurring content schedule without needing detailed assignments for every video
- Proactive communicator who asks questions when needed but is comfortable making creative decisions independently
- Organized, reliable, and able to consistently meet weekly content deadlines
- Strong English communication and copywriting skills
- Interest in beauty, cosmetics, social media, and digital marketing
- Able to work approximately 10 hours per week remotely

- You enjoy analyzing why certain content performs well — and what makes viewers take action
- Experience with CapCut, InShot, or similar tools
- Experience creating paid social or ad creative

- Interest in e-commerce, influencer marketing, performance marketing, or startups

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Create, film, edit, and post a minimum of 5 TikTok/Instagram videos per week
- Independently develop content ideas based on trends, product benefits, customer pain points, past performance, and brand priorities
- Create a mix of:
- Trend-driven content with robust product integration
- Product demonstrations and tutorials
- Educational content explaining how Navo Lashes work and what makes them different
- Problem/solution and benefit-driven content
- Relatable beauty and lifestyle content
- Conversion-focused content that gives viewers a reason to try or purchase the product




- Learn and consistently communicate Navo’s brand positioning and key product messages
- Monitor content performance and identify which hooks, concepts, formats, and product messages perform best
- Use performance learnings to iterate on successful concepts and test new variations
- Potentially assist with creating organic and paid ad creative

WORK STRUCTURE & FLEXIBILITY

- This is a paid, hourly, part-time employee position
- Approximately 10 hours per week
- Work is fully remote with flexible scheduling
- You will be hired as an employee and paid through payroll, with applicable statutory deductions and entitlements
- Extended health and dental benefits are not included with this part-time position

Because this is a content creation position, you must have access to an appropriate space to regularly film high-quality content. You do not need professional studio equipment, but videos should have good lighting, explicit audio, and a clean, visually appealing setup.
