Job Summary

EPIC Wireless is seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media & Marketing Specialist to grow our digital presence, strengthen community engagement, and generate customer traffic and sales opportunities.

The ideal candidate understands current social media trends, can create engaging visual and video content, and is comfortable marketing across both mainstream and culturally diverse digital platforms. Fluency in additional languages, particularly Mandarin, and experience with platforms such as WeChat and Xiaohongshu (RED) would be a robust advantage.

Responsibilities

- Develop and execute social media and digital marketing campaigns for EPIC Wireless.
- Create engaging content for platforms such as **Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, WeChat, Xiaohongshu (RED) and other relevant channels.
- Create posts, short-form videos, promotional graphics and other content highlighting TELUS and Koodo mobility, internet, device and promotional offers.
- Build brand awareness and engagement within the communities surrounding our retail locations.
- Manage social media accounts, including posting, monitoring engagement and responding to messages and comments.
- Stay current with social media trends, popular content formats, hashtags and emerging platforms.
- Develop campaigns focused on generating store traffic, customer leads and sales opportunities.
- Promote new device launches, seasonal promotions, store events and special offers.
- Assist with creating and adapting marketing materials for different audiences and communities.
- Work with EPIC Wireless management and retail teams on location-specific promotions.




- Track campaign performance, engagement and leads and recommend improvements.
- Assist with influencer, community partnership and local marketing opportunities.

Skills & Qualifications

- Experience in social media management, digital marketing or content creation.
- Strong understanding of platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
- Experience with WeChat, Xiaohongshu (RED), Weibo or other international social platforms is a strong asset.
- Mandarin language skills would be considered a strong asset.
- Ability to create engaging social media posts, graphics and short-form videos.
- Graphic design and video editing experience using Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CapCut or similar tools.
- Strong written communication and attention to detail.
- Understanding of social media trends and online consumer behaviour.
- Experience with paid social advertising and influencer marketing is an asset.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with management and retail teams.
- Experience in telecommunications, wireless, retail or technology marketing is an asset.

Pay: $25.00-$36.00 per hour
