Saskatchewan Polytechnic is seeking an experienced Welding Instructor for a full-time position at the Moose Jaw Campus. This role involves teaching various welding processes across pre-employment and apprenticeship levels. Ideal candidates will possess a Journeyperson Certificate, strong instructional abilities, and effective communication skills, contributing to diverse and inclusive education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct classes in multiple welding processes
• Prepare and deliver lessons, demonstrations, and assignments
• Evaluate student performance and monitor progress
• Supervise students in classroom and lab settings
• Counsel students on program and career opportunities
Requirements:
• Grade 12 or equivalent certification
• Journeyperson Certificate in Welding trade
• Two years' relevant post-Journeyperson experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
