Senior Project Manager to support Business Operations through Enablement & Innovation We're seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of business process improvement and business transformation initiatives within the Enablement & Innovation team . This role is focused on execution—turning business priorities into delivered outcomes by partnering with business, operations, field teams, IT, and vendors.
The successful candidate is a pragmatic delivery leader who creates clarity, removes obstacles, and keeps work moving from discovery through implementation. You'll support an innovation portfolio that includes AI Enablement, Data Platforms, Data Engineering, Data Governance, and Custom Application Development, while ensuring solutions are adopted and deliver measurable business value.
Contract: 6 months to start with strong possibility for extension
Location: Calgary - 100% in office downtown Calgary
Must have:
7+ years Project Management experience delivering Business Transformation, Process Improvement , or Operational initiatives.
Experience working with Business, Operations, Maintenance , and/or Field stakeholders.
Experience leading Cross-Functional Projects involving business, IT, and third-party vendors.
Proven ability to manage Project Delivery , including Risks, Dependencies, Decisions , and stakeholder alignment.
Robust Executive Status Reporting and stakeholder communication skills.
Experience within Oil & Gas, Pipeline, or other Asset-Intensive industries is preferred.
Nice to Have
Experience delivering initiatives involving AI Enablement, Data Platforms, Data Engineering, Data Governance, or Custom Application Development.
Experience within the Oil & Gas, Pipeline, or other Asset-Intensive industries.
Experience supporting Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, or Maintenance Optimization initiatives.
PMP certification or equivalent Project Management experience.




Experience delivering projects using Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead delivery of process improvement and business transformation initiatives from planning through implementation.
Partner with business, operations, field teams, IT and vendors to define priorities and execute delivery plans.
Manage project schedules, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions and action items.
Facilitate workshops and drive alignment across multiple stakeholder groups.
Monitor project progress, remove blockers and maintain delivery momentum.
Support transition to operations by ensuring business readiness, communication and adoption.
Provide concise, factual updates to leadership on project status, risks and next steps.
