This position will report to the Manager, Professional Practitioner.
Accountabilities Provide quality occupational therapy services within a client-centred framework
Determine the physical, perceptual, cognitive and functional status of patients through administration of formal and informal assessments; plan and implement interventions to enhance overall functioning; and make recommendations regarding level of support required upon discharge
Provide education to the patients, their families,
students and interdisciplinary membersand participate in interdisciplinary rounds, meetings, committees and quality initiatives in the program and occupational therapyteam as needed
Practice in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the COTO
BScor MScin Occupational Therapyor equivalent
Registered and in positive standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
Membership in CAOT or OSOT preferred
Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking and comprehension)
Recent experience in adult physical medicine
Basic knowledge of evidence‑based clinical practice related to general medicine and rehab clients
Experience with psychosocial, cognitive, perceptual and physical health related assessment and intervention skills addressing occupational performance
Demonstrated ability to manage high caseload volumes
Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with excellent time management and organizational skills required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
Good critical thinking and problem‑solving skills required

Excellent attendance, punctuality, and work record
May be required to travel between and work at all Osler sites
Working Hours Hours: Currently days/evenings, 8 hours including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)
