Lead the Build HER Future project as a Construction Program Manager with Newcomer Women's Services Toronto. This full time, in-person role is dedicated to empowering newcomer women in Ontario's construction industry.
In this permanent position based in North York, ON, you will oversee a team focused on enhancing women's participation in construction through training and mentorship. Emphasizing collaboration, project management, and community engagement, the ideal candidate brings extensive experience in workforce development, specifically targeting newcomer and racialized women.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic guidance for the Build HER Future project
• Supervise daily project execution and stakeholder engagement
• Oversee project timelines,
performance indicators, and reporting
• Foster partnerships with employers in the construction sector
• Ensure program compliance with funder obligations
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in relevant fields; Master's preferred
• Minimum five years of leadership experience
• Knowledge of construction industry practices
• Bilingualism required
• Strong project management experience
