Job Description
The Continuous Improvement Partner is responsible for executing continuous improvement activities within a defined workstream in the Protected Agile Release Train (ART), using structured methodologies to monitor performance, identify inefficiencies, and support operational readiness for various changes.

The role applies Lean Six Sigma principles (DMAIC framework) and operates within a SAFe Agile delivery environment , identifying opportunities, supporting feature readiness and delivering post-implementation monitoring.

A core responsibility includes contributing to the Operational Readiness pipeline , which ensures operational teams are prepared to execute new or updated processes through structured artifacts:

Technical Process Guide (TPG): documents how processes and features are executed

Training Needs Analysis (TNA): identifies required skills, knowledge, and impacted roles

Training Plan (TP): defines how training will be delivered

Storyboard: translates training into structured learning content

Other key DMAIC Artifacts (such as Process Maps)

The Continuous Improvement Partner is also responsible for creating and fostering an environment that promotes continuous improvement by supporting and partnering with department leaders to identify opportunities for improving quality, service and productivity.

What does your typical day look like?

Gather and document process and feature details to support the Operational Readiness pipeline (TPG, TNA, TP, Storyboard)

Ensure alignment between documented processes and operational execution

Contribute to accurate and structured documentation of workflows and system usage

Support various operational changes which may be prompted outside of the ART, including but not limited to the implementation of new business, major client changes, or other changes prompted through Account Management or the Operational unit.

Process Monitoring & Improvement Identification





Monitor live processes within the workstream and related operational processes and areas to identify inefficiencies and gaps

Apply Lean Six Sigma methodology and frameworks to analyze root causes

Track improvement implementation and validate outcomes

Stakeholder Collaboration

Collaborate with operational teams, SMEs, and product stakeholders

Support SAFe Agile ceremonies, where applicable, by providing operational insights

Communicate findings clearly and elevate risks or opportunities

Financial Awareness & Reporting

Estimate the cost impacts of inefficiencies (cost-of-waste)

Support development of cost-benefit summaries for identified improvements

Provide structured data to support prioritization decisions

Major Challenges

Managing dual responsibilities of documentation and process monitoring

Identifying measurable inefficiencies in evolving Agile environments

Influencing stakeholders without direct decision-making authority

Objectively managing resistance to change which may arise from continuous improvement initiatives

Possible delayed prioritization of opportunities identified

Major Accountabilities

Execute improvement activities and/or operational changes within a single workstream

Support the Operational Readiness pipeline and artifact creation

Monitor processes and identify inefficiencies using structured methodologies

Contribute data and analysis to improvement initiatives

Success Measures

Volume and quality of identified improvement opportunities

Accuracy of cost-benefit and cost-of-waste estimates





Timeliness and completeness of Operational Readiness artifacts

Stakeholder engagement and collaboration

What skills and training do you need?

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, operations management, or a related field

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent

2–3 years experience in process improvement or operations

Proficiency with collaboration, planning, and visualization tools such as MS Office, MS Teams, Confluence, Jira, Lucid, Visio

Experience working in Agile or fast-paced delivery environments

Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC) methodologies

Understanding of SAFe Agile principles and team participation

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Effective communication and collaboration

Very Good verbal and written communication skills (Bilingualism English, and French an asset)English will be used in particular to implement various projects or training courses across our various offices, including those outside Quebec.
