As a key member of the UA team, the Underwriting Assistant will collaborate with underwriters and provide necessary administrative support. This 12-month temporary role emphasizes teamwork and the ability to mentor less experienced staff while completing tasks, such as policy entries and maintaining file documents. Key Responsibilities:
• Enter new business and renewals into the system
• Assist in training and mentoring junior staff
• Order risk inspections for underwriters as needed




• Maintain file setup documents as approved by underwriters
• Collect additional information from Brokers for underwriters

Requirements:
• 2-3 years of insurance industry experience
• High School Diploma required
• Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) courses are beneficial
• Proficient in English and French for client communication
• Robust attention to detail with repetitive tasks
