Located in Saskatoon and reporting to the Director of Program Development, this position oversees the Program Development Specialists of SATCC and provides leadership to a team of 6.Reporting to the Director of Program Development, you will:The Ideal Candidate will require:A bachelor's degree in education, adult education or equivalentExperience in managementAdditional valued experience:Journeyperson certificateProject management trainingLeadership or management certificateA master's degree in an associated fieldThe successful candidate will be based out of Saskatoon. This includes ensuring that trade assessments are valid, reliable, and aligned with occupational standards; developing objectives and monitoring performance measures at the regional and provincial levels; and ensuring the consistent application of policies, regulations, and procedures across the province. You will provide ongoing coaching and constructive feedback to Program Development Specialists in the management of their trade portfolios, and you will recommend and draft updates to improve efficiency within the Program Development Unit.In addition, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of trades training programs by analyzing program performance data, stakeholder feedback, and industry trends to identify gaps and opportunities for enhancement.
