Kawartha Orthodontics is looking for an enthusiastic Registered Dental Hygienist to join our thriving practice in Peterborough, Ontario. This is a newly created position, reflecting our practice’s continued growth and patient demand.

Compensation & Perks That Count:



Team members working 20+ hours per week enjoy a competitive total rewards package, including extended health coverage, a health spending account, and an employee assistance program. Complimentary orthodontic treatment for you and your immediate family and a uniform allowance. $42.00 to $52.00 per hour based on experience.
Work-Life Balance: A part time position with a schedule of 23 hours per week.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Responsible for assisting the orthodontist in the delivery of patient care
Direct bonding of brackets
Insert/cement appliances
Remove bonding adhesive with a high-speed handpiece
Deliver patient personal oral hygiene care, appliance, and elastic instructions
Educate patient and parents on treatment progress
Chart procedures
The Teammate We’re Looking For
Registered Dental Hygienist from an accredited program with a current license to practice in Ontario
Current CPR certification
Orthodontic experience preferred
