Hours of Work Equivalent to 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week. ***Please note: The successful incumbent will be required to work 7:45 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. ***
Duties Duties are outlined in the attached job description.
Qualifications Minimum Grade 10 education (Grade 12 or equivalent is preferred)
Valid Fireman's Certificate is an asset but not required
Valid Driver's License
Direct experience in the caretaking field would be considered an asset
Demonstrated understanding of cleaning procedures, cleaning processes, products and equipment is preferred
General mechanical/plumbing knowledge and aptitude
Must have the ability to operate tractors, mowers, and equipment efficiently and safely
Knowledge of computers and applicable software




Knowledge of the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System
Commitment to the ideals of public education as well as the mission, vision and guiding principles of the South East Cornerstone School Division
Salary & Benefits Salary and perks are in accordance with the currently negotiated SEIU-West Collective Agreement as listed on our website www.secpsd.ca. The starting wage for this position is currently $23.49/hour along with a full benefit package and an employer defined pension plan.
