Duties and responsibilities:
Coordinate the delivery of client intakes, employment services, skills training, and employment opportunities.
Perform client needs assessments to identify individual barriers and develop personalized action plans.
Coordinate and deliver pre-employment workshops on career planning, job search strategies, resume writing, interview preparation, and related employment skills.
Facilitate employment skills training sessions covering personal management, interpersonal relations, communication, time management, and computer use.
Based on the job seekers strengths, skills, and ability to participate, provide guidance and support to engage in a successful job search.
Maintain records of client progress and outcomes, including preparation and submission of required reporting.




Develop and maintain employer relationships that create quality work experience placements and employment opportunities for clients.
Promote awareness of supported employment concepts and their perks for businesses.
Work with employers to develop job carves that are based on both business needs and job seekers abilities.
Follow up on employer leads and coordinate job-search activities, including cold calls, informational interviews, job shadows, and worksite tours.
Conduct outreach with community agencies and participate in community activities, meetings, and networking opportunities to strengthen referral and partnership relationships.
Qualifications:
Degree in social work, human services, education, occupational therapy or a related field.
Rehabilitation Worker Certificate or two years supported employment experience or related experience.
Experience in the supported employment sector and practices, and with employer engagement.
Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Drivers Licence.
