The YWCA Hamilton is in search of one temporary Program Staff member to facilitate quality before and after school programs. This position needs candidates with experience in early childhood education or related fields, focusing on creating educational opportunities that align with the organization's values. You’ll plan and deliver engaging activities while ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create a secure, stimulating environment for children's growth
• Facilitate programs for students aged 4 to 12 years
• Utilize the YWCA curriculum to enrich learning experiences
• Maintain positive communication with families and partners
• Support classroom and volunteer supervision
Requirements:
• Completion of 2 years college in relevant fields
• Experience in licensed child care settings preferred
• Standard First Aid and CPR C certification or willingness to obtain
• Current TB test and immunization proofs required
• Bilingual ability is an asset
