Become a Mine Engineering Technician with Compass Minerals in Goderich, Ontario, contributing to safety and efficiency underground. Engage in data gathering, inspections, and geologic mapping while supporting ground control operations.

This role involves joining the Engineering team at the world’s largest underground salt mine. Candidates will perform installation of instrumentation, execute 3D scanning, and assist with ventilation surveys. Key Responsibilities:
• Install and maintain underground rock mechanics instrumentation
• Analyze and format data from underground instruments




• Inspect underground excavation conditions for rehabilitation plans
• Conduct geologic mapping of underground sites
• Perform GPR surveys and present findings

Requirements:
• Qualified Mine Engineering Technologist or Technician
• 3-5 years of experience in mining preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD desired
• Robust analytical skills required
• Ability to work at heights using man lifts
