emergiTEL is hiring a SeniorCyber Security Engineer for our client in the fintech / cryptoindustry. This is a Permanent role.

Location : Etobicoke, ON (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week).

(English) Design, implement, and harden security infrastructure across an AWS-based cloud environment. Build and improve vulnerability management and reporting processes for infrastructure and applications. Lead and coordinate security incident response, including investigation, remediation, and postmortems.

Implement and manage SIEM, monitoring, alerting, and detection capabilities. Evaluate and strengthen IAM policies, access controls, and cloud security configurations. Collaborate with vendors, auditors, and compliance stakeholders on security and regulatory initiatives.

Contribute to security policies, standards,



and operational procedures aligned with regulatory requirements. 5–7 years of hands-on experience securing AWS and cloud-native infrastructure. ~ Solid knowledge of networking, Linux systems, IAM, and infrastructure security best practices. ~ Experience with application security and secure software delivery. ~ Experience managing penetration testing programs and remediation. ~ Strong understanding of modern security threats and defensive controls. ~ This is an active position currently open for hiring.
