Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, this position demands creativity and analytical skills in designing and modifying manufacturing operations, including machining and welding. You will improve production methods, manage production capacity, and establish schedules. Your role involves collaboration with technical staff and oversight of drafters and technicians to ensure operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and design manufacturing processes for production.
• Improve existing production methods for efficiency.
• Specify tools, equipment, and fixtures as needed.
• Conduct investigations into new manufacturing methods.
• Assist in resolving process scrap issues effectively.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing.
• Proficient in AutoCad, Excel, and Word.
• Knowledge of geometric tolerancing and manufacturing capabilities.
• Ability to write technical documentation accurately.
