This temporary role, requiring 28 hours each week for one year, places you at the heart of community development. You will utilize your exceptional in-person facilitation skills while planning outreach activities and developing programs. Partnering with diverse communities, you will work to foster leadership, volunteerism, and civic engagement in Ottawa.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct outreach to identify community needs
• Facilitate workshops and programming for participants
• Develop community partnerships with relevant stakeholders
• Maintain records for program participation and evaluation
• Assist with program-specific training and onboarding
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in health or social services
• Experience in program planning and group facilitation
• Knowledge of community resources and support systems
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
