Job Overview
We are recruiting Journeyperson / Apprentice - Pipefitters to join our team. The job purpose of a Journeyman / Apprentice Pipefitter is to use their specialized skills and knowledge to install, maintain, and repair piping systems in a secure and efficient manner, contributing to the success of construction projects. They play a critical role in ensuring that these systems operate effectively and reliably.

Responsibilities

Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.

Measure, cut, thread, bend, assemble and install metal tubing, pipes, pipe sections, valves, and fittings.

Hydrotest and install fabricated pipe spools within structural steel modular assemblies, adding designed supports as required.

Maintain all tools, work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion.

Read and interpret client and company-supplied construction fabrication drawings and specifications.

Requirements

Journeyperson Pipefitter Certification / Apprentice AIT#

Familiarity with industry standards and best practices

Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract

Must be fit-for-duty.

Able to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing

Must be immediately eligible/able to work in Canada.

Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test including cannabis
