Work LocationKelowna Valens Agritech FacilityAbout the RoleExciting Opportunity: Facilities TechnicianWorking closely with the Asset Care and Facility Projects teams, the Facilities Technician is responsible for carrying out a wide range of tasks across the site. This role includes performing basic repairs, inspections, preventative, reactive and corrective maintenance activities. Responsibilities extend to some facility infrastructure, processing, and production equipment, and providing support on projects and assisting with facility upgrades as neededWhat you’ll be doing:Performing routine maintenance and minor repairs (e.g., plumbing, lighting, doors, HVAC filters, small equipment)Inspecting and monitoring building systems and equipmentSupporting planned and unplanned maintenance activitiesAssisting with external contractors and emergency maintenance tasksMaintaining clean and organized work areasCompleting maintenance records and reports using company softwareFollowing health and safety protocols and supporting continuous improvement initiativesHelp manage facility inventory, tools and spare partsWhat We’re Looking ForExperience in facility or building maintenance (manufacturing or cannabis industry an asset)Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systemsAbility to use tools, perform basic repairs, and assist tradespeopleStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and in a teamBasic computer skills for documentation and communicationAble to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks safelyWhy You’ll Enjoy Working With UsFlexible Opportunities:
