Become a key player at the University of Alberta as a Recreation Facility Operator I at the Saville Community Sports Centre - West. This in-person role focuses on facility operations, equipment management, and hardwood floor maintenance.

In the Recreation Facility Operator I role, you will support Campus & Community Recreation's daily functions, monitoring operations and providing excellent service to users. Your hands-on experience will contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient setting for sport and recreation facilities at South Campus. The position requires flexibility and the ability to work evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:
• Set up events and equipment as directed
• Perform hardwood floor maintenance regularly
• Execute opening and closing procedures as required




• Assist in accident/incident reporting and quality assurance
• Operate facility equipment safely and effectively

Requirements:
• High School diploma required, undergraduate degree is a plus
• Intermediate First Aid certification (within 2 years)
• Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license required
• At least 2 years experience in recreation facility operations
• Excellent communication skills needed
