As the Marketing and Communications Manager, youwill lead the development and execution of GSL Group’s corporate marketing andcommunications initiatives that strengthen brand awareness, enhance thecompany’s reputation, and support organizational objectives. You will beresponsible for managing corporate communications, social media channels,website content, public relations activities, and the creation of marketingmaterials. You will also provide strategic support to business units throughbranding initiatives, website enhancements, and project-based marketingactivities.

Key Responsibilities

Development and execution of GSL Group'scorporate marketing and communications initiatives to strengthen brandawareness and organizational reputation.

Manages the marketing and communicationsactivities for GSL's foundations, including campaigns, events, donorcommunications, impact stories, and promotional materials.

Manages GSL Group's corporate socialmedia channels by developing content calendars, creating engaging content,and monitoring performance.

Manages and maintains the GSL corporatewebsite, ensuring content remains current, accurate, and aligned withbrand standards.

Develops GSL Group’s marketing andcommunications materials including presentations, brochures, newsletters,media releases,



and other corporate collateral.

Supports public relations activities bydrafting communications, coordinating media opportunities, and promotingGSL's corporate initiatives and community impact.

Ensures the consistent application of GSLGroup's brand standards across corporate communications and marketingmaterials.

Provides occasional project-basedmarketing and communications support to GSL business units, includingbranding initiatives, website updates, and marketing materials.

Monitors marketing and communicationsperformance and provides recommendations to improve engagement, brandvisibility, and overall effectiveness.

In an ideal world, you would havepost-secondary education in Design, Marketing, Communications,Journalism, or a related field, along with strong experience with websitecontent management systems (e.g., WordPress or similar) and social mediamanagement platforms. You understand SEO, Google Analytics and Email marketingplatforms. Experience with website hosting, domains, DNS management, and digitalphotography and video editing are an asset.
