Key responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and calculations for concrete and steel structures.
- Develop and review engineering designs, specifications and technical reports.
- Support refurbishment, modification and life extension projects within nuclear facilities.
- Assess existing structures and provide recommendations for repair, reinforcement or replacement.
- Interface with multidisciplinary engineering teams, clients and project stakeholders.
- Participate in design reviews and technical problem-solving activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards and nuclear industry requirements.
- Support construction, installation and commissioning activities as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the nuclear industry.
- Demonstrated experience on nuclear refurbishment, plant modification or life extension projects.
- Strong knowledge of steel and reinforced concrete structural design.
- Experience with structural analysis software and engineering calculations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary project workplace.
Assets
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation is a strong asset.
- Experience supporting Bruce Power, OPG, Pickering, Darlington or other nuclear generation facilities.
- Familiarity with Canadian nuclear industry standards and regulatory requirements.

The salary for this position ranges from C$ 90 000 to C$ 150 000 gross per year, depending on your experience and qualifications.
