We are seeking a dedicated Long Haul Tractor-Trailer Driver who will be responsible for transporting goods over long distances while maintaining safety, professionalism, and compliance with all transportation regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operate a tractor-trailer safely over long-distance routes
Transport goods efficiently while meeting delivery schedules
Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
Maintain accurate logbooks and required documentation
Ensure cargo is properly secured and handled
Comply with all federal, provincial/state, and company regulations
Other Duties Assigned: Report mechanical issues promptly and coordinate repairs when necessary
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
Follow all safety policies and procedures
Assist with loading and unloading cargo when required
Requirements: Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL/Class 1 or equivalent)
Ability to travel for extended periods and work versatile schedules
Knowledge of transportation safety regulations
Strong time-management and communication skills
