Why this role is important to usThe Alternative Investment Services (AIS) Centralized Pricing (CP) team is responsible for supporting fund of hedge fund teams globally in the set-up of securities, maintenance of hedge fund liquidity data and entry of pricing data. You will operate as a senior member of the CP team assisting in the completion of accurate pricing, security set up and liquidity information for fund of funds investments while overseeing associate level tasks and contributing to the development of the team.What you will be responsible forAs Centralized Pricing, Officer you will:Review and assist staff with private equity valuations and assist in resolving private equity valuations related queries, audits and other ad hoc financial reports as required.Oversee the review, validation, approval and monitoring of the process workflowAccount for daily management of functional team(s) and manage daily service delivery and production activities performed by staffOversee offshore teams, performance tracking, participation in monthly/quarterly calls, transitioning new funds/business to offshore teamsPrimary contact and key escalation point for critical operational issues, as well as technical expert to resolve daily problemsManage and escalate issues related to Business Unit Shared Services and COEsAssist with conversions of new business, plan for and review client specific agreements and internal policiesEnsure appropriate records of daily and monthly activities are complete and maintainedIdentify and implement consistent operational best practicesAssist in documenting and reviewing procedures, recommend controls and risk strategiesCoordinate the implementation of new funds, systems and processes, assist with client conversions and other client projectsPromote a risk awareness culture in staffProvide coaching and development opportunities to staffEnsure self and team anticipates, monitors, actively manages and reports all risk and compliance issues, breaches and suspicious activitiesAct in accordance with Risk Excellence and role model Ethical behavior and decision making as part of our Way Ahead foundationPerform other duties as requiredEducation & Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree,
prefer finance, accounting, economics or business management major 4+ years of related experience in private equity fund of funds or private equity fund accounting.Proficient in email managementStrong problem solving and analytical skills Solid communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsAbility to communicate with various internal teams to resolve inquiries and understanding when to escalate Candidates must demonstrate initiative, be able to perform well under pressure, and simultaneously handle multiple assignments Excellent administrative and organizational with the proven ability to multi-task and to work efficiently to meet client deliverables Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is required to cover international clients.About us What we do.
