THE OPPORTUNITY
A well-established and growing civil contractor is looking to add anexperienced Civil Foreman to their team in the Lower Mainland.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on construction leader withstrong experience in underground wet utilities and municipal infrastructure.The ideal candidate will have experience leading crews through theinstallation, repair, replacement, and construction of water mains, sanitarysewer, storm sewer, and related underground infrastructure.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Lead and coordinate day-to-dayfield activities for civil and underground utility projects.
Supervise and provide directionto operators, labourers, and crew members.
Plan daily work activities, crewrequirements, materials, and equipment.
Oversee the installation, repair,replacement, and upgrade of wet utilities.
Read and interpret constructiondrawings, specifications, grades, and elevations.
Work closely with the SiteSuperintendent and Project Manager to maintain project schedules andproduction targets.
Coordinate equipment, materials,deliveries, and subcontractors as required.
Monitor workmanship and ensure construction activities meet project specifications.
Identify and resolve field issuesand construction challenges.
Complete daily reports andcommunicate project progress, site conditions, and issues to management.
Ensure crews follow company andproject-specific safety requirements.
Maintain a productive, organized,and safety-focused work environment.
WHAT YOU BRING
5+ years of civil constructionexperience with significant underground utility experience.
Proven experience leading crews on wet utility projects, including:
Water main
Sanitary sewer
Storm sewer / stormwater
Underground utility installation
Utility repairs, replacements, and upgrades
Previous experience as a Civil Foreman, Utility Foreman, Lead Hand, or experienced Pipe Layer ready totake the next step.
Strong understanding ofunderground utility construction methods and site operations.
Ability to read and interpretconstruction drawings, grades, elevations, and specifications.
Experience with municipal infrastructure, subdivisions, roadworks, or major civil projects is highlyvalued.
Strong leadership andcommunication skills.
Ability to coordinate crews, equipment, materials, and daily production.
Safety-first mindset with a commitment to quality workmanship.
Valid driver's license andability to travel between projects throughout the Lower Mainland.
