Full time, Permanent 14x14 continuous day and night shift rotation

Job Description: Trouble shooting equipment and systems and performing repairs. Utilize Caterpillar SIS, VIMS and ET daily. Interface with Caterpillar, customers, product and sales support. Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements. Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment. Various related duties as required.
Qualifications: Red Seal Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician Certification
Valid driver’s license with a successful recent drivers abstract
Strong knowledge/experience of 797F C175 haul truck
Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal
Dedication to safety. A safety leader to help drive a strong safety culture
Completion of all Finning S-level courses would also be considered an asset
Strong computer skillset including ET and VIMS
Preference for advanced electrical troubleshooting skills Tier 2/4 & C175 series engines experience
Experience in a mine or industrial setting is preferred
Important Notes: This position is located at D05 Kearl mine site shop facility on a 14x14 continuous day/night shift rotation. Successful candidate will be required to stay in camp, while on shift. A condition of employment is the ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol, fitness testing) and wear a respirator where applicable.

Any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement.
