We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and nurturing full-time live-in nanny to join our warm and respectful family in Point Grey, Vancouver.

Position Details

Employment Type: Full-Time, Live-In (but not a deal breaker if you don't want to be live-in)

Start Date: Mid to Late August

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Occasional evening babysitting may be required with advance notice.

Travel: Occasional domestic and international travel may be required.
Compensation: $30–$40 per hour based on qualifications and experience.
Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package.

Paid Time Off: Two weeks paid vacation and five paid sick days.

Eligibility: Applicants must already have unrestricted authorization to work in Canada. This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored work permits or visas.

About Our Family

We are a warm and active family consisting of a professional father, a stay-at-home mother, and three children ages 4, 2, and 1.

Our home is located in Point Grey and is a large family residence with an indoor swimming pool. We employ additional household staff, including nannies and housekeeping professionals. This position focuses primarily on childcare while working collaboratively as part of our household team.

Responsibilities

- Provide exceptional care for our baby, toddler, and preschooler.
- Create engaging, age-appropriate educational and recreational activities
- Support developmental milestones through play and learning.
- Manage feeding, naps, hygiene,



and daily routines.
- Prepare bottles and healthy meals and snacks for the children.
- Assist with school and activity pick-ups and drop-offs when required.
- Complete children's laundry.
- Maintain children's bedrooms, play areas, and belongings.
- Perform light tidying between professional housekeeping visits.
- Follow the family's clean eating approach when preparing meals for the children.

Required Qualifications

- Extensive experience caring for children under five, including newborns, infants, and toddlers.
- Standard First Aid Certification.
- Infant and Child CPR Certification.
- Comfortable preparing children's meals.
- Non-smoker.
- Criminal Record Check.
- Clean Driver's Abstract.
- Knowledge of safe car seat installation and use.
- Valid passport.

Preferred Qualifications

- Early Childhood Education (ECE) training.
- Food Safety Certification.
- Access to a safe and reliable vehicle.
- Valid BC Class 5 Driver's Licence.
- Swimming ability and water safety awareness.
- Comfortable around dogs, as the children's grandmother occasionally visits with her Labrador.
