STARTING AUGUST 2026 - PART TIME

We are looking for a nurturing and experienced nanny to care for our two young children (currently 2.5 years old and 8 months) on a part-time, live-out basis in Edmonton, Alberta.

Our current Nanny has been with us for a year and a half but is moving out of province as of August 1st. We are seeking someone who can start sometime in August but we are versatile on the precise date.

I will be on Maternity Leave until November with the expectation that the first 2-3 months will give our caregiver time to bond, learn the routines and needs of each child. A lot of time will be spent one on one with one of the children, working into handling both kids full time by the time I return to work.

We are seeking someone who can work 2 full (and potentially long) days, ideally Wednesday and Friday. We need a caregiver who is able to start at 7am, but flexibility on those two days is a huge asset. We are open to discussions regarding minimum number of hours (even if that means adding another 1/2 day).

We anticipate 18-25 hours a week, and $22-25/hour based on experience.

We are looking for someone long term.



Someone who will hopefully see our children through to their school years.

The ideal nanny should have previous experience in infant care and be well-versed in child development. Our priority is the safety and well-being of our little ones, so we need someone who is reliable, attentive and ready to be on the move with our mover while helping the newest addition start to move.

Additionally, the ability to engage in age-appropriate activities and promote developmental milestones is essential.

CPR and first aid are necessary. Experience or knowledge with food allergies / epi-pens is an asset.
