Position: Special Procedures-CAT Scan Technologist

Department: Imaging Services - CAT Scan

Status: Full Time (75 hours bi-weekly), Shift: Nights

Description

The Special Procedures-CAT Scan Technologist performs routine radiographic and interventional radiographic procedures in accordance with the technologist training and license. Prepares and administers oral contrast for patient consumption. Prepares and maintains records and files as required.

Prepares and maintains records and files as required.

- Associate of Science Degree required
- Formal Radiological Technology training from an accredited school

- Valid N.Y.S Radiological Technologist license; Registered through the A.R.R.T. with (CT) certification and D.O.H. license injection privileges are required

- 2-3 years previous experience as a Radiological Technologist preferred
- Previous experience with PACS, RIS, EMR, CR, OR, ER, DRX, CT and Meditech preferred

Skills & Requirements
