Hello!

We are the Lok family in New Westminster, BC, and we are looking for a caring, reliable, and engaging nanny to help care for our toddler.

This is primarily a part-time, live-out position, with the possibility of occasional hours depending on our family's needs. Approximately 15–20 hours per week, 3–4 days per week from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Weekday availability is required, with occasional Saturday availability.

Responsibilities include:

- Providing attentive and nurturing care for our toddler
- Encouraging independent thinking, confidence, curiosity, and age-appropriate problem-solving
- Planning fun and engaging activities, including arts and crafts, dance and movement, early literacy, outdoor play, and imaginative play
- Supporting a consistent daily routine, including meals, naps, and playtime
- Ensuring our child's safety, well-being, and development
- Light child-related tidying as needed

Ideal Qualifications:

- Experience caring for toddlers or young children
- ECE, ITE, or SE training/certification is an asset but not required




- CPR and First Aid certification is an asset
- Warm, dependable, and engaging personality
- Ability to create a safe and positive environment for children
- Strong references from previous childcare positions
- Ability to speak English, Cantonese, and/or Mandarin is a bonus, but not required

We offer $25 per hour and are looking for someone who will become a positive and trusted part of our child's life.
