I’m a mom in Vancouver, BC, looking for a kind, patient, and reliable part-time nanny for my 5-year-old son.

I’m hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with children and believes in gentle, respectful parenting. Patience, empathy, and kindness are very important to me, as well as having robust personal values and treating children with respect.

I’m looking for someone who is calm, understanding, and who sees children as individuals with their own personalities and ways of experiencing the world.

My son is autistic (Asperger’s) and is a very sweet, curious, and bright little boy. He absolutely loves learning and can talk for a very long time about the things that interest him, especially engineering, trucks, insects, and pretty much anything he finds fascinating.

He has an incredible curiosity about the world, and I’m looking for someone who will enjoy listening to him, engaging with his interests, and encouraging his love of learning.





Experience with autism or neurodiversity would be a plus, but what matters most to me is finding someone who is open-minded, caring, patient, and genuinely enjoys getting to know a child for who they are.

The role would involve spending time with him, playing, talking, doing activities, and supporting his interests and development while providing a safe and positive environment where he can be himself.

This is a part-time, live-out position paying $25/hour.
