This role is a combination of childcare and household manager. The hours would be 2:30 - 1...pm Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

Responsibilities would include, but not be limited to:

- picking up kids from school and driving them home (30km distance)
- driving oldest son from 100 Mile House to Kamloops and back one evening per week
- plan and prepare the meals for the week

Note that proven proficiency in managing food preparation for dairy anaphylactic and gluten free, plus regular meals is a necessity

- planning and engaging in evening activities with sons who are 8 and 9 yrs old
- ensure timely and calm bedtime routine is maintained
- doing household errands like grocery shopping, and other tasks while in Kamloops
- priority is engagement with children, and secure meal preparation.
- planning and completing daily and weekly household maintenance tasks (laundry, garbage, bill payments etc)

Note: parent is open to adding additional hours for the suitable candidate as her work responsibilities and hours increase

As noted in the above description, specific skill sets and qualifications are required:





- current Intermediate First Aid
- extensive experience driving highways and windy country roads in winter conditions and has awareness of wildlife and logging truck considerations on country roads

NOTE: requires properly maintained vehicle. And new winter tires. Compensation for the adequate passenger insurance will be provided to successful candidate

- willingness, and physical ability to plan, engage, consistently be attentive, energetic, and adaptable with children for activities, learning opportunities, and food preparation as a group (yes, all three of my children assist in food preparation and cooking)
- proven experience to handle the thinking and doing balance in a home with a grateful, solution-focused mindset
