We are seeking a proactive, highly organized Nanny & Household Manager for a full-time, hybrid role (40 hours/week) supporting our active twin toddlers and keeping our home running smoothly. While the children are at daycare in the mornings, you will manage daily home operations—including deep housekeeping, laundry, and healthy meal preparation—before transitioning to a structured, warm-but-firm care routine when they return in the afternoon.
The ideal candidate has early childhood experience (ideally with twins) and acts as a true partner in streamlining our family life.
Scope ( 40hrs/week)
- After-Daycare Routine: Manage healthy snacks, structured play, and the transition into the evening routine.
- Backup Care: Provide occasional full-day care during sick days or daycare closures.
- Laundry & Linens: Handle family laundry, bed sheet rotations, and occasional ironing.
- Meal & Kitchen Management: Manage meal planning, prepare grocery delivery lists, and cook healthy family dinners.
- Housekeeping: Perform full routine house cleaning (vacuuming, dusting, mopping, deep cleaning bathrooms/kitchen) while children are at school in the mornings.
- Travel Support: Assist with packing and unpacking for family trips.
- Home Organization: Maintain home organization (closets, playrooms, and children's gear).
- Firm but Warm: Capable of setting healthy boundaries, following through, and maintaining structure with a loving approach.
- Proactive & Organized: A self-starter who anticipates household needs without needing constant direction.
- Confident Decision-Maker: Comfortable managing daily logistics and minor challenges independently.
- Household Manager Mindset: Thinks like a manager to streamline our family life, balancing caregiving with home operations.
- Versatile & Dependable: Open to staying late occasionally on busy workdays, and available for evening/weekend coverage.
- Early Childhood Experience: Experienced with toddlers and is confident/comfortable in managing twins; understands developmental routines and is comfortable in planning play dates and activities for the kids.
