Senior Accounts Receivable & Credit Specialist
We are looking for a Senior Accounts Receivable & Credit Specialist.What You'll Do
Manage end-to-end AR activities including invoicing, payment application, collections, and reconciliationsMonitor aging reports and follow up with customers to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoicesInvestigate and resolve complex billing or payment discrepancies and disputesFollow up on the billing of each project based on their specific terms and conditionsSupport cash application and ensure payments are applied accurately and promptlyAssist in developing and improving AR procedures, controls, and reporting toolsReview and evaluate customer credit applications, credit reports, and payment historyMonitor customer accounts and proactively identify high‑risk situationsWork closely with customers, sales, and customer teams to resolve collection issuesSupport monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliationsAssist in preparing AR‑related reports, KPIs, and metrics for managementPrepare weekly and quarterly cash‑flow collection reportsMentor and provide guidance to junior AR team members as neededMaintain accurate and up‑to‑date customer account recordsAssist with internal and external audits by providing requested documentationExperience
What You'll Bring:Min 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or credit managementExperience with credit evaluation, dispute resolution, and cash applicationEducation/Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)Technical Skills
Thorough knowledge of the AR function and department processesSupervisor scope: supervises a small group of para‑professional staff;
