Working under the guidance of the Principal and in coordination with the Learning Resource Teacher, you will adapt teaching methods, assist with special programs, and monitor student progress. This role requires a strong understanding of social and emotional learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in developing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
• Support students with personal care and special education needs




• Administer medications and maintain accurate records
• Utilize adaptive technologies to aid learning
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
Requirements:
• Secondary school diploma plus two or three-year diploma in relevant field
• Knowledge of behavior management strategies
• Experience with special education is an asset
• Solid interpersonal and organizational skills
• Certification in relevant areas like CPR is beneficial
