Job Overview

Website copy can be considered the first point of communication with a potential online customer. Here at ZenaTech we have a vast online brand portfolio that needs love and attention in regards to updating our website text to conform with the latest industry standards.

As such we are seeking an experienced Copywriter with a passion for technology, and an eye for detail. You’ll ensure our website content is polished, engaging, and conforms with brand voice. You’ll collaborate closely with our other content writers, UX designers, marketing team, and executive team to write compelling copy that resonates with potential customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Edit, write and proofread website copy including landing pages, product pages, blogs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with technical teams to translate complex drone and SaaS features into clear, user-friendly web content.
- Optimize website copy for SEO (including keyword integration, meta descriptions, headers, and internal linking).
- Maintain brand voice, tone, and style consistency across all website touchpoints.




- Ensure technical accuracy and clarity in product descriptions, feature explanations, and integration details.
- Work with the UX team to align copy with user flows and enhance readability and engagement.
- Identify gaps and opportunities in website content, recommending improvements and updates to enhance customer experience.
- Proof digital assets for promotional campaigns, including call-to-actions, banners, and product updates.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Journalism, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a copy editor or web content editor, preferably in a technology or SaaS environment.
- Exceptional grammar, punctuation, and writing skills; ability to simplify complex technical information for non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs).
- Experience with content management systems (e.g. WordPress).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in different geographies.
- Solid organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience editing or writing for drone technology, and SaaS products.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Understanding of B2B marketing strategies and sales enablement content.
- Familiarity with UX/UI writing principles and best practices.
