This position calls for an experienced estimator with a mechanical contractor background, joining a dedicated estimating team. You will manage full mechanical takeoffs, handle vendor negotiations, and collaborate closely with project managers on various construction projects. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare mechanical takeoffs for HVAC, plumbing,
and piping bids • Review plans to identify scope gaps and issue RFIs • Source and negotiate vendor quotations effectively • Apply labour units and create accurate bid packages • Draft transparent scope letters and manage bidding process
Requirements: • Minimum three years of estimating experience • Proficient with AutoBid, QuoteSoft, or similar software • Mechanical Engineering degree or related diploma • Knowledge of Division 21, 22, and 23 scopes • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
