Vice President of People | Global Field Operations | Privately Owned Leader

Are you an HR executive who's just as comfortable in the boardroom as you are on a mine site, at a drill camp, or on a shop floor? Do you thrive in fast-moving, safety-critical, multi-country operations where your decisions directly shape how work gets done?

We're looking for a Vice President of People to lead the people function for a privately owned company operating across six countries with a workforce of 1,000+ people. This isn't a desk-bound HR role — it's a chance to build the leadership capability, culture, and people infrastructure behind a growing, field-based operation where reliability, safety, and execution matter every single day.

What you'll own:

? Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to the President, CFO, and executive team

? Lead workforce planning, succession, and talent strategy across a geographically dispersed workforce

? Champion a culture of safety, accountability, engagement, and performance across corporate and field teams

? Build and scale HR systems, compensation, compliance, and reporting across multiple jurisdictions

? Drive the people side of growth, change, and organizational effectiveness

What you bring:

✅ CPHR designation (required)





✅ Progressive senior HR leadership experience — VP People, VP HR, Head of People, or equivalent

✅ Experience in mining, drilling, energy services, industrial, manufacturing, or other field-based/operational environments

✅ A track record of leading a full people portfolio: talent, employee relations, comp & advantages, performance, culture, and HR ops

✅ Comfort operating in a privately owned or entrepreneurial company, with sound judgment, discretion, and a bias for practical execution over theory

✅ Multi-country or multi-jurisdiction experience is a strong asset

✅ Spanish and/or Portuguese fluency is an asset given the international footprint
