Take the lead in transportation logistics as Baffinland's Site Services Superintendent at the Mary River site. Ensure efficient movement of personnel and materials in a safe manner.
In this key role, you will manage daily logistical challenges, including aerodrome activities, equipment movement, and oversight of safety measures. With a critical eye on budget management, you will foster a high-performance culture while collaborating with various teams to optimize operations under varied conditions, including harsh weather.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise logistics operations, including material transfers
• Report and address safety incidents and hazards
• Oversee maintenance of site roads and infrastructure




• Direct contract compliance and performance evaluation
• Manage emergency response and travel logistics
Requirements:
• Minimum five to seven years in a supervisory capacity
• Expertise in logistics and material management (3-5 years)
• Practical knowledge of SAP and budgeting
• Experience in remote and Arctic locations preferred
• Solid background in indigenous stakeholder relations beneficial
