Responsibilities

- Leads end-to-end execution of DOE California Water Utilities and EPC energy/storage projects, managing cross-functional teams (engineering, contractors, permitting, utilities) from development through commissioning and handoff to service.
- Serves as primary client interface, overseeing project reporting, documentation (minutes, action logs), and commercial coordination with water utility stakeholders and DOE requirements.
- Develops and manages scopes of work, subcontractor agreements, change orders, and project financials, ensuring accuracy in budgeting, accounting, and cost performance.
- Oversees project scheduling and execution, maintaining master and short-term schedules, tracking delays, and ensuring delivery aligns with approved specifications, timelines, and budgets.
- Provides leadership and direction to project teams and field personnel, promoting safety, operational standards, and effective coordination across subcontractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Ensures compliance with all contractual, regulatory, and reporting requirements while driving project performance,



customer satisfaction, and successful transition to operations.

Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree or relevant equivalent experience
- 7 years of experience as a project manager with P&L; responsibility
- 3+ years of experience as a project manager for complex EPC or Industrial projects (such as water, power, oil & gas, nuclear industries)
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and influencing skills
- Solid business acumen
- Experience managing Federal Grants
- Experience with state utility regulators
- Demonstrated ability working in a matrixed and global organization

Preferred Requirements

- BS/BA in a technical engineering discipline preferred
- Experience and knowledge of BESS (Battery Energy Storage) project deployment (design, permitting, utility interconnection, etc.)
- Project or Change Management experience
- Energy Project Development and Construction experience
- Grant Funding Administration experience
