Burnaby Blacktop Ltd. is currently seeking a Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic or an experienced Apprentice to join our team at our Burnaby location.

Qualification

- Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic or Apprentice with relevant hands-on experience
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with heavy-duty trucks and construction equipment is an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong commitment to workplace safety

Responsibilities

- Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks and equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic,



and electrical systems
- Complete work efficiently while maintaining high safety standards
- Keep accurate service and maintenance records
- Work collaboratively with shop staff and the operations team
