Personal Support Worker (PSW) Windsor, Youth with Autism

HealthOPM is seeking a dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide one‑on‑one care and behavioral support to a male youth with autism and complex special needs. This is a temporary role through our staffing agency, offering consistent hours and the opportunity to make a direct impact.

Pay & Perks

- Hourly rate: $23+ per hour , based on experience and qualifications
- Flexible weekday or weekend scheduling
- Supportive agency team and compliance assistance
- Gain hands‑on experience supporting youth with complex needs

Key Responsibilities

- Provide personal care and daily living support
- Use NVCI or Protected Management Group training to ensure safety
- Assist in de‑escalating and managing challenging behaviors




- Communicate effectively with client staff and HealthOPM

Schedule

- Weekday (Mon‑Fri) or weekend (Sat‑Sun) availability
- Shifts: 7 AM–3 PM, 3 PM–11 PM, 11 PM–7 AM

Qualifications

- Current PSW certification
- NVCI or Safe Management Group certification required
- Experience supporting youth with autism and behavioral challenges
- Compassionate, reliable, and patient
