HR Operations Advisor

Calgary, AB (Onsite)

Contract Duration: September 1, 2026 – August 31, 2027

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Pay Rate: $56-$68/hour + 4% vacation pay

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Operations Advisor to provide business-facing HR support to assigned client groups. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys partnering with leaders, resolving complex employee matters, leveraging HR systems, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

As a key member of the HR team, you will provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and programs while ensuring the effective delivery of HR services and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as the primary HR Advisory contact for assigned client groups
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employee-related matters
- Manage and resolve Tier 2 HR inquiries and cases through established case management systems
- Support leaders, employees, and HR partners with timely and accurate HR advice
- Maintain HR documentation, including policies, process guides, FAQs, and templates
- Utilize HR systems such as Workday, SAP, and ServiceNow to manage employee lifecycle transactions
- Ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with privacy legislation and internal standards
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and service delivery
- Participate in HR operational projects and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Required:

- Minimum 2 years of progressive HR operations experience in a business-facing HR role




- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, Commerce, or a related discipline
- Robust understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employee lifecycle processes
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve complex issues effectively
- Legally authorized to work in Canada

Preferred:

- Experience within an HR Shared Services environment
- Experience with Workday, SAP, and ServiceNow
- CPHR designation or working toward designation
- Oil & Gas industry experience
