2 full time, permanent Tile Setters are required by Ironwood Interiors LTD, a family-owned construction business operating on site across the Lower Mainland with head office at 17 – 19631 55A Ave, Langley, British Columbia V3A 0L5.The salary range is $30.00 – $31.00 per hour.The main duties will be:Prepare, measure and mark surface to be coveredBuild underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires and bracketsMix, apply and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue or other adhesives using trowelSet tiles in position and apply pressure to affix tiles to baseAlign and straighten tile using levels,



squares and straightedgesCut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting toolsPack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess groutInstall tile stripsLay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural and floor designsMix, lay and polish terra surfacesCut, polish and install marble and graniteRemove and replace cracked or damaged tilesMay prepare cost estimates and orders.As we operate across the Lower Mainland, travel to our various construction sites is required.
