About St. Joseph the Worker School

Located in Richmond near the waterfront village of Steveston, St. Joseph the Worker School is part of a Franciscan faith community. Job Description

Position : Full‑time Physical Education Teacher Location : St. Joseph the Worker Elementary School, Richmond Start Date : September 1, 2026 Responsibilities include:

- Teach physical education classes to elementary students, employing wide-ranging instructional techniques to adapt to different learning styles.
- Coordinate the school’s athletics programs by liaising with parent and staff coaches.
- Schedule and plan games, events, and other athletic activities, ensuring all sports events are fully prepared and executed safely.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate physical activity into the daily schedule and school culture.
- Participate in the school’s extracurricular programs and events, contributing to the broader learning community.
